Care instructions:

Timber handles must be washed by hand and dried thoroughly. Care should be taken not to use abrasive or harsh dishwashing powders or liquids as these may damage the timber handles. These knives are not dishwasher safe.

Additional information:

This steak knife set comes with a 24-month warranty against all manufacturing faults. Faulty items will be replaced.

Laguiole has become a generic term to describe a style of cutlery and is not restricted to any one maker, company, brand, trade name or place of manufacture.

A Laguiole set that is packaged in France can be labelled as made in France. The item may have been made in France, Hungary, USA, China, Thailand or India and it may be high, medium or low quality. Please note the price will often reflect the quality.

The higher quality Laguiole sets are produced from a heavier gauge of stainless steel. The recommended stainless steel gauge is 1.8mm or greater, which lasts longer than lesser gauges and resists breakage.

Description:

The beautifully crafted Artisan range of Laguiole by Louis Thiers embodies the true rustic charm of Laguiole. Each steak knife features a gently curved snake wood handle mounted to a 3.5mm thick high quality stainless steel blade which is polished to a gleaming finish. Each knife is unique as no two pieces of snake wood are the same.

The bolster of each piece is decorated with the famous Laguiole bee insignia and chasing on the metal spine. Each piece is hand finished for a difference in quality you can see and feel.

Features include:
- 6 x steak knives 230 mm
- High quality (X20CR13), heavy gauge (3.5 mm) stainless steel for superior durability, stain resistance and mirror-like polish
- Genuine snake wood handle with three steel rivets
- Timber storage box
- Hand wash only
